Why Exfoliation?

Exfoliation brings a ton of benefits to the skin, including deep cleaning, brightening and softening.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, exfoliation can leave your skin looking brighter and improve the effectiveness of topical skin care products by enhancing absorption. Regular exfoliation can also help prevent clogged pores, resulting in fewer breakouts. Long-term exfoliating can even increase collagen production, which promotes skin elasticity.

There are two types of exfoliation—physical, and chemical. Physical exfoliation is the process of using any scrubbing or rubbing with a physical abrasive material to cleanse the skin of dead skin cells. Chemical exfoliation uses chemicals, like hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA) or retinol, with enzymes to renew new cells in the skin.

When & How to Use Soft Sugar Foaming Polish

The klog Soft Sugar Foaming Polish is super simple to incorporate into your skin care routine. It’s an exfoliating cleanser, but it’s gentle enough for daily use! If you have particularly sensitive skin, use the klog Soft Sugar Foaming Polish two to three times a week.

For a super deep clean, use the Sugar Polish after oil-cleansing with the klog Plant-Rich Antioxidant Pore Cleansing Oil. Follow up with the klog’s Hydra Shield Anti-Pollution Jelly Toner and the klog Snail Mucin Energy Essence.

Massage a small amount in circular motions onto a damp face until sugar dissolves. Add warm water for a richer lather and rinse thoroughly.  The klog Soft Sugar Foaming Polish is vegan and cruelty free, plus formulated without parabens, sulfates, alcohol, mineral oil, and silicone.
