Well that just flew by, didn't it? Usually Fashion Week feels a bit like a death march through hellish weather and gawking crowds. But this year, it just sort of happened. It was Fashion Week; and then it wasn't anymore. A blessing and a curse, I guess. The blessings: The schedule felt lighter—now that Proenza and Rodarte are not showing in New York, a few of the ITG must-sees turned into can't-sees—with more room for shooting, thinking, and eating.

Curse, of course, is a strong word. And at the end of the day, Fashion Week isn't that bad. Hate it? Don't go. The only real downside was that it left the team wondering, "Have we...learned everything?" Sniffing around for backstage tips is always a bit of a wild goose chase, with the exciting moments so hard to predict. It's not every year you discover Nelsons (RIP) or Bed Head Queen For A Day covered in electrical tape (because it wasn't sanctioned by the show's actual beauty sponsor).

All that said, Tom captured many a Kodak model moment that you can scroll through above. (Keep your eyes peeled for the Bella Hadid/Kaia Gerber kiss.) We're particularly drawn to the warm peach/bronze eye look at Wang, the god-given highlight at Kors, some muted-but-graphic liner at Monse, and the red acrylics at Adam Selman. Summed up, it's beauty that feels natural and all-American, easy to do but exciting nevertheless.

Better yet, though, is everything we shot in the down time: Several fall makeup editorials, some supermodel Top Shelves and After Darks, and the beauty products you'll want to use all fall- and winter-long. Stay tuned. Fall—or whatever season it is—is just getting started.
